About Brian: Brian has spent more than twenty-six years in municipal and school finance within the City of Worcester. In his current role of Chief Financial and Operations Officer, he is responsible for the development and management of a $420 million annual budget and oversight of 600 district and contracted employees in the areas of budget, payroll, materials management, grants management, school nutrition, facilities, student transportation, and information technology. Brian received national recognition with the Distinguished Professional Eagle Award and he is a seven-time Meritorious Budget Award recipient from the Association of School Business Officials International. Brian has served on numerous statewide committees on education funding and is a Past President for the Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials. Brian has been an instructor of school finance courses at Worcester State University since 2001. Brian has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Clark University, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University, and a C.A.G.S. in Conflict Management from Clark University.
